Ensemble Performing Arts seeks a fun, experienced violin/viola instructor for The Music Box in Lafayette, LA. Position is in-person with Wednesday availability from 3-8pm, within our open hours.

Candidates should hold a degree in music performance or education, demonstrate love for teaching young musicians, and be punctual with reliable transportation. Background check will be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in music performance, music education, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
• Experience teaching and working with young musicians.
• Must be punctual with reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a routine background check.

Responsibilities

• Instruct violin and viola in person at The Music Box in Lafayette, LA.
• Maintain availability during open hours; Wednesdays 3-8pm.
• Provide consistent scheduling and communicate availability to students and staff.
• Prepare students for performances and cultivate musical growth.
