Play On Philly (POP) is seeking passionate Violin Teaching Artists for the upcoming school year at our West Philadelphia Music Centers. Qualifications

  • You specialize in violin and/or string pedagogy.
  • At least one year of formal music teaching experience with young people is preferred.
  • You can work occasional nights and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

  • Teach groups of five or more students at once and monitor progress.
  • Help students develop instrumental skills, music literacy, and repertoire.
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and rigorous learning environment.
