Job summary

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional violin teacher to teach part-time for our Lake Forest, CA school Glee Music Academy. The role is in-person with hours 4-8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with flexibility within open hours.

Preference for candidates experienced with students with disabilities, homebound or virtual instruction, and a strong love of teaching. Successful candidates will have a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing

Qualifications

• Degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
• Experience teaching young musicians and conveying musical concepts clearly.
• Willingness to pass a routine background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person violin lessons at the Lake Forest studio.
• Cover lessons on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4–8pm.
• Tailor instruction to each student and monitor progress.
• Maintain punctuality and reliable transportation.
