Bertrand’s Music in Redlands, CA is seeking a passionate Violin teacher to deliver engaging lessons in-person and via Zoom, with recital preparation and student growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music, has teaching experience across ages, can create digital lesson content, and communicates effectively. A fingerprint background check is required for all teachers and employment is part-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music (Performance, Education, or related field) or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience teaching music lessons to students of various ages.
• Proficiency in teaching both in-person and online via Zoom.
• Ability to create digital content, including recorded lessons.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• All accepted teachers will be required to be fingerprinted and have a background check through the Department of Justice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, engaging music lessons both in-person and via Zoom.
• Create recorded lessons and other digital content to support student learning.
• Plan and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
• Recruit and retain students by fostering a positive and inspiring learning environment.
• Prepare students for performances, including recitals and other musical opportunities.
• Provide timely and supportive communication through email and our student platform.
