Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Greater New York is seeking a Prevention Specialist to deliver education and outreach across 9 counties, promoting healthy relationships and bystander intervention. You will facilitate trainings, collect data, and help run the 24/7 hotline with after-hours on-call responsibilities.

The role requires flexible scheduling, occasional evenings/weekends, and travel within the region. A passion for sexual violence prevention and survivor support is essential.

Qualifications

• Public speaking and facilitation skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience delivering prevention education and outreach.
• Comfort with after-hours hotline coverage and travel within region.

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention education to youth and adults across 9-county region.
• Coordinate and run outreach events and workshops with partners.
• Cover the 24/7 hotline and provide crisis support when needed.
• Maintain records and reports to meet grant requirements.
• Support campus and community partner collaborations.
