Job summary

Collectibles Group is searching for an experienced Vintage US Coin Grader to join their grading team in Las Vegas, NV. Candidates should possess at least 5 years of numismatic knowledge and a proven ability to grade coins accurately. Successful applicants will be trained according to NGC’s grading standards and must have the capacity to travel for work functions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and a team player.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of technical numismatic knowledge and experience.
• Ability to accurately and consistently grade rare and collectible coins using the Sheldon Coin Grading Scale.
• Must have knowledge of various eras of minting techniques and metal alloys.

Responsibilities

• Join the grading team and maintain high accuracy and integrity.

• Travel domestically and internationally for business functions.

Qualified candidates will display a high level of accuracy, integrity, self-motivation and ability to work within a team environment. The selected candidate will be trained using NGC’s standards for numismatic grading.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of technical numismatic knowledge and experience
• Knowledge of various eras of minting techniques, metal alloys, counterfeit detection and coin alteration required
• Ability to accurately and consistently grade rare and collectible coins by using the Sheldon Coin Grading Scale
• Experience in variety attribution and authentication
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for business functions
