Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Alaska driver’s license within 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, family, and group counseling to clients.
• Develops and maintains treatment plans and notes.
• Coordinates with mental health and substance abuse professionals.
• Provides continued care to village residents.
• Relates with Elders and community leaders to promote wellness.
• Maintains case documentation in a timely manner.
• Conducts assessment documentation including HIV/AIDS risk assessment.
