Job summary

Affordable Language Services in Cincinnati, OH is seeking Vietnamese interpreters for in-person appointments across medical and non-medical settings. As independent contractors, you will provide interpreting services to diverse communities and may work remotely occasionally.

Fluency in English and Vietnamese is required, with the ability to pass a language test if training is not completed. We welcome interpreters to serve students, patients, and clients in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern KY

Qualifications

• Must be fluently bilingual in English and Vietnamese.
• US I-9 work authorization required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug test may be required.
• Vaccination records may be required for medical interpreting.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpreting services as an independent contractor in medical and non-medical settings.
• Attend in-person appointments and serve communities in Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern KY.
• If lacking formal interpreter training, you may be required to pass a language test across English and Vietnamese.
