Responsibilities

Produces, reviews, proofs, and delivers translations of hospital documents such as medical record forms, patient education materials, and marketing materials from English into the target language as assigned by the coordinator.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma, equivalent education (GED), or post-secondary education
2. Certification in foreign language translation from one of the following professional training programs or certifications (i.e. Rapid Translate, RushTranslate, the American Translators Association (ATA), or Certified Translation Professional (CTP) OR Bachelor’s Degree or higher-level degree in Translation or Linguistics
3. Two (2) years’ experience translating, proofreading, and editing medical materials from English to the target language in a medical setting, customer service, advocacy, or related field.
