Job summary

Nomadic UK is a Cheltenham-based video production house seeking a skilled editor/producer to craft engaging content. The role spans filming support, footage curation, and seamless integration of audio and motion graphics.

Proficiency with DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and Premiere Pro is required. A degree in Video Production/Editing or 3-4 years of industry experience is expected. Equal opportunities and a dog-friendly office are offered.

LOCATION: Cheltenham

Nomadic UK is an innovative and creative video production company located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Cotswolds, our dynamic team caters to a diverse clientele that includes prominent business leaders and renowned household brands such as FurnitureVillage, Spotify, Paddy Power, Sainsburys and Derwent to name a few.

Our continuous pursuit of creativity drives us to embark on exciting projects that yield engaging content over and over again. Our Cheltenham office provides an environment of collaboration and artistic inspiration, fostering both innovation and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Filming diverse content, ranging from interviews to b-roll and cinematic footage.
  • Organizing and curating raw footage (“rushes”) for effective editing.
  • Crafting compelling video content by seamlessly weaving camera footage, audio, and animated text overlays.
  • Collaborating closely with the creative director to ensure the realization of desired visual outcomes.
  • Efficiently managing multiple editing projects concurrently, adhering to deadlines.
  • Skillfully integrating feedback from clients and colleagues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contributing to tasks such as media management, audio editing, color grading, and final delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proficiency with Mirrorless and Cinema Cameras, both handheld and on a gimbal.
  • Ability to achieve optimal exposure, framing, and focusing in shots.
  • Experience in lighting scenes and conducting interviews.
  • Mastery of DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Either a degree in Video Production/Editing or 3-4 years of industry experience.
  • Strong technical and organizational editing skills, encompassing media management, color grading, and delivery.
  • Capability to conceptualize visually creative ideas based on initial project briefs.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently delivering high-quality video edits.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a discerning eye for visual aesthetics.
Additional Information
  • While camera operating skills (filming and photography) are beneficial, they are not prerequisites for this role.
