Job summary

Golden State Warriors is seeking a on-site Videographer in San Francisco to shoot, edit, and create feature stories for Chase Center, Thrive City and Warriors properties. You will craft branded content and social media videos with a strong visual identity.

You will collaborate with Producers, Editors, and departments to deliver high-quality work while staying current with industry trends and equipment needs. This full-time role reports to the Director of Production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in video/film production or equivalent work experience.
  • 1–3 years in a professional production environment, preferably within music/entertainment.
  • Experience in videography, photojournalism or visual storytelling.
  • Experience with lighting techniques and setups.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; knowledge of Premiere Pro and motion graphics.
  • Self-starter and able to handle production shoots independently.
  • Ability to operate digital cinema cameras (RED, Sony, etc.).
  • Strong ability to shoot, produce and edit content across platforms.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Demo reel showing shooting and editing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate cameras and set up lighting on production shoots.
  • Collaborate with Producers and Editors to create features for digital channels.
  • Establish a high-quality visual style for Warriors Studio content.
  • Identify and complete feature content in a timely manner.
  • Edit quick-turn videos when necessary.
  • Coordinate cross-department collaboration for integrated programming.
  • Stay current on video tech and industry trends to innovate.
  • Coordinate video assets to support post-production workflow.
  • Maintain video equipment and explore new gear for the department.

Job description

Golden State is looking for a Videographer to shoot, edit and create video features storiesfor Chase Center, Thrive City and other Golden State properties. In this role,you will work on features for branded content, artist & fan experience stories andsponsorship videos specifically for social media platforms. To be successful, you will needa creative mind with a real passion for crafting immersive and compelling content. Thisposition reports to the Director of Production.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capture high energy live event content at Chase Center and Thrive City
  • Operate cameras and set up lighting on production shoots as needed
  • Collaborate with Producers and Editors to create features, promotional spots, and various video content for the organization’s digital channels
  • Establish and maintain a high-quality visual style that separates Warriors Studio from other venue and sports teams
  • Identify, conceptualize, and complete feature content in a timely manner
  • Edit quick turn videos when necessary
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Brand Marketing, Public Relations, and Corporate Sponsorships) to ensure well-integrated cross collaboration and programming
  • Stay current on video technologies and industry trends; make recommendations to continually innovate and improve operations and enhance the video experience of Golden State content
  • Coordinate video assets to ensure post-production workflow stays on course
  • Assist production team in maintaining all video equipment within the department and look for new video production equipment to use
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in video/film production or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years in a professional production environment, preferably within the music and/or larger entertainment industry preferred
  • Experience in videography, photojournalism or a visual story-telling field
  • Experience with various lighting techniques and setups
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workplace; knowledge of Adobe Premiere Creative Cloud, motion graphics creation, and social first video styles and techniques
  • Self-Starter and ability to handle production shoots independently
  • Ability to operate digital cinema cameras for production shoots (RED, Sony Cine & Mirrorless Cameras, etc.)
  • Strong ability to identify, shoot, produce, and edit compelling content across allplatforms
  • Ability to work in fast-paced work environment
  • Candidates must have a demo reel that demonstrates both shooting and editing experience
Time Commitment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary
Compensation
  • $35.00 - $37.00 + Bonus
