Alignerr is seeking a Video Research Specialist to join our AI training efforts from your home. You will record daily household tasks using an Android device to generate diverse training data for robotics and AI.

No AI or video production experience required; you’ll receive guided, recurring sessions and equipment, with flexible hourly contracts and remote work from anywhere in the U.S. Join a global research collaboration and help shape the future of human-robot interaction through careful data

As a Video Research Specialist, you'll use your home as a research environment, capturing everyday moments that fuel next-generation AI and robotics development.

What You’ll Do

• Record video footage of yourself performing everyday household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and organizing
• Use an Android device and provided equipment (such as sensors, cameras, or specialized glasses) to capture high-quality training data
• Review and edit captions to ensure accuracy, proper grammar, and alignment with project guidelines
• Follow structured procedural instructions to ensure data consistency and quality
• Participate in recurring sessions to contribute ongoing training data

Who You Are

• You own or have access to an Android device (iOS not currently supported)
• You're comfortable being recorded while performing everyday tasks and wearing provided equipment
• You have a strong eye for detail and take quality seriously
• You're reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable following structured guidelines
• You're open to participating in recurring, scheduled sessions
• No prior experience in AI, research, or video production required
