Job summary

Denver Public Schools is seeking a student assistant to support the Video Production instructor within the Multimedia & Video Production Program on a DPS campus. You will help with equipment setup, operation, editing labs, and inventory management while contributing to program development and student success.

Open to Emily Griffith Technical College students eligible for Work Study; position pays student minimum wage and is not benefits eligible.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED minimum required.
Currently enrolled as a student at Emily Griffith Technical College with eligibility for Work Study employment.
Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of video production equipment, studio spaces, and editing labs.
Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of equipment.
Participate in program marketing efforts, including creating promotional videos, social media content, and other outreach materials.
Uphold and model classroom discipline and school policies to create a supportive and effective learning environment.
Other duties as assigned related to program support, curriculum development, and student success initiatives.
Assist in Work Based Learning(WBL) initiatives developing Multimedia solutions for other EGTC programs.
