Job summary

The USGA is offering a full-time, paid internship in video production to build practical experience in the fast-paced world of golf. The role supports the Marketing and Creative team, assisting with postproduction, editing, shooting, and distribution across digital channels.

Based at our Liberty Corner, NJ campus on a hybrid schedule, interns work with editors and producers, gain hands-on exposure to pre- and post-production tasks, and contribute to both championship and non-championship content.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in video production
• Knowledge of the entire video production process
• Basic knowledge of video production equipment and editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Understanding of DSLR and cinema cameras
• Pursuing or obtained bachelor’s degree in storytelling & multimedia content creation
• Creative mindset and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Passion for interactive, multimedia storytelling
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Appreciation of golf and USGA mission
• Portfolio submission required

Responsibilities

• Assist editors with postproduction duties
• Screen and log footage
• Transcribe interviews
• Maintain organized file systems
• Contribute to video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Assist in publishing and distributing video content for web and social media
• Finish videos for digital output (color correction/balance and sound design)
• Archive media for future use
• Clip and organize footage on NAS server and cloud
• Assist with pre-production tasks (research, scripting, scheduling, organizing shoots)
• Collaborate with producers and editors on concepts
• Support on-set production (camera, lighting, audio, equipment)
