Volunteer State Community College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Entertainment Media - Video to deliver quality instruction using integrative technologies. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in video production, digital filmmaking, media arts, broadcasting, or closely related field with three years of field production, television studio production, post production, or related experience.
- Ability to teach courses in video editing, field production, studio production, motion graphics, and/or screenwriting.
- A demo reel demonstrating excellence in field is required.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses via on ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced modalities as assigned.
- Submit class syllabus or update department syllabus at least 2 weeks prior to the first day of class or within seven days of the execution of contract.
- Regularly check your VSCC email and your departmental mailbox, respond to emails within 48 hours.
- Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar.
- Complete required College trainings and reports by deadlines.
