Loyola Medicine is seeking a part-time staff member for a 12-hour day shift. The role involves monitoring 12-16 patients, redirecting behavior via a digital audio device, and coordinating with nursing staff to maintain patient safety.

Basic computer skills are required, and experience in healthcare is preferred but not mandatory. Weekend and holiday work may be necessary as part of a 24/7 operation.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 healthcare environment.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong verbal communication and reporting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor 12-16 active patients during 12-hour shifts.
• Redirect patient behavior via 2-way audio device and alert staff.
• Maintain professional, calm tone with patients and staff.
• Provide shift-to-shift reports on patient activity.
• Observe patients and prevent harmful behaviors.
• Document patient activity in writing.
• Utilize CCTV monitoring to observe patient movements.
