Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Patient Observer provides constant observation and support to patients who have been identified as a potential risk to themselves or others. The Patient Observer assists with patient‑related tasks based on individual needs while maintaining patient confidentiality and following hospital policies and procedures.
