Job summary

Maxwood Furniture is seeking a Video Editor to shape visual storytelling for our brands across social media, ads, and digital platforms. You will transform raw footage into engaging, conversion-focused video assets for platforms like Meta, YouTube, and DTC sites.

The role requires at least 2 years of video production/editing experience and proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Onsite work at our Daniel Island, SC HQ, with collaboration across creative and performance

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of video production and editing experience.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Familiarity with CapCut and Videoleap for collaborative editing.
• Strong post-production skills including noise reduction, sharpening, and retouching.
• Knowledge of video compression standards, exporting formats, and cross-platform optimization.
• Experience with audio editing and mixing for high-quality sound design.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Passion for social media, visual storytelling, and staying ahead of industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with brand and social teams to craft compelling narrative concepts and story ideas.
• Edit and assemble footage into engaging videos for social media, ads, and website across platforms.
• Format and optimize videos in various aspect ratios for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and paid channels.
• Work with influencers to maximize content performance while keeping brand consistency.
• Assist with on-set shoots and contribute creative input during planning.
