Dheya is seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team. The candidate will edit engaging video content for YouTube and other digital platforms, delivering polished work that aligns with our branding.

The ideal editor has a solid grasp of storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound design, subtitles, music, and visual effects, and can work independently while meeting deadlines. A strong portfolio/showreel is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of storytelling and visual composition.
• Experience editing YouTube-style content is preferred.
• A strong portfolio/showreel is required.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form and short-form video content for YouTube and social media platforms.
• Create engaging edits with proper pacing, transitions, music, sound effects, and graphics.
• Understand raw footage and convert it into polished, engaging content.
• Add subtitles, captions, animations, B-rolls, images, and other visual elements where required.
• Maintain consistency in editing style, quality, and branding.
• Work independently and complete videos within the given timelines.
• Take feedback and make required revisions.
• Organize and manage video project files and assets.
