This is an hourly contractor role with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week for an initial three-month term, with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right fit. You'd manage assigned editing projects from intake through final delivery: editing in Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, tracking progress through our project management software, and delivering finished work on deadline and to spec. You'll be trained on our full workflow, including editing procedures, file organization, project tracking, and quality standards.
Local to the Tri-Cities is preferred (in-person or hybrid); remote candidates considered.
What You'll Do
- Edit videos in Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro from provided footage, master edits, and project specs
- Create video assets for different international markets, languages, and platforms, implementing client-provided translations, voiceovers, captions, and graphics (translation fluency not required)
- Maintain the timing, design, pacing, and quality of master content across every version and format (16x9, 1x1, 9x16)
- Turn client revisions around accurately and on time
- Export and deliver final videos to established technical specs, naming conventions, and delivery locations
- Utilize our project management software, Asana, to communicate statuses, deadlines, file links, and notes
- Follow our folder structure, file naming, and version control standards, and archive completed projects so any editor can pick them up
- Run a quality-control check on every deliverable before it goes out
- Communicate proactively: flag missing assets, unclear instructions, or timeline risks before they become delays
What We're Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro, with the ability to work at some level in both programs
- Professional editing experience (product, commercial, instructional, or social content)
- Exceptional organization (files and projects) and attention to detail across a high volume of similar projects
- Self-directed: able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without day-to-day supervision
- Professional, responsive communication with our team
- Comfortable using Google Docs and Google Sheets
Nice to Have
- Experience with recurring agency clients and managing client revisions
- Comfortable working in Adobe After Effects for motion-based projects and templates
- Experience working within a creative team
- Basic IT knowledge as it applies to video servers and files
- Familiarity with captioning, video codecs, audio editing/mixing, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator

- Reasonably available to complete projects within expected turnaround times, with availability and scheduling conflicts communicated in advance.
- Potential to grow into a full-time role for the right fit.
