Job summary

Penske Entertainment is seeking a senior Video Editor to craft engaging content across social, digital, and broadcast channels. You will drive storytelling from concept to final deliverable, collaborating with producers, editors, and leadership.

We value creative problem solving, platform optimization, and the ability to tailor edits for high engagement. Expect busy race-weekend periods and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional video editing experience.
  • Professional experience with a sports league or team is preferred.
  • Tailor content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X for performance.
  • Proficiency with AVID edit systems and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience incorporating motion graphics into video projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with producers, videographers, motion designers, social media teams, and leadership to create content for social, digital, and broadcast platforms.
  • Contribute creative ideas during team meetings and client sessions.
  • Work independently to create original projects from concept to completion.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Video Editor will work on projects ranging from dynamic social media videos to long-form story telling and everything in between. This position requires exceptional storytelling skills and creative approach to problem solving. Our editors are the creative force behind our content team!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with producers, videographers, motion designers, social media teams, and department leadership to create engaging content for social, digital, and broadcast platforms.
  • Contribute creative ideas during team meetings and internal and external client sessions.
  • Work independently to create original projects from concept to completion
  • Incorporate feedback from Penske Entertainment leadership and additional stakeholders.
WHAT YOU BRING

We’re looking for someone who’s ready to bring great effort every day and is committed to growing with us.

Required Experience & Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional video editing experience.
  • Professional experience with a sports league or team is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to tailor content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X, optimizing each edit for performance and engagement.
  • Knowledge of AVID edit systems or the ability to transition from another platform quickly.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects, Premiere, Media Encoder, and Photoshop.
  • Experience incorporating motion graphics into video projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to take a project from initial concept or storyboard through final delivery.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
FLEXIBILITY & TRAVEL
  • Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Extended hours required during race weekends and key event periods (especially May)
  • Evening and weekend hours and travel may be required based on production and event needs.
  • Our teams work together to create flexibility that supports life in and out of work
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer or video-editing workstation.
  • Ability to work with video and audio content for extended periods
  • Frequent use of a keyboard, mouse, monitors and other standard editing equipment.
