KUSA KTVD-TV, the TEGNA-owned NBC affiliate in Denver is looking for a full‑time Morning Video Editor. The ideal candidate is proficient at creating captivating and shareable content for television, social media, and mobile platforms. You must be a self‑starter who is technologically savvy and can work under tight deadlines. We are looking for individuals who possess a keen artistic eye, a deep understanding of editing and photography techniques, and a passion for storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Use editing tools to create content for newscast and digital platforms.
• Use creative production techniques such as graphics and new forms of media (viewer pictures, webcam interviews, etc.) to enhance stories.
• Work closely with news producers, reporters, photojournalists, and the digital team.

Requirements

• Knowledge of non‑linear editing systems using Edius, Premiere, and Photoshop.
• Interest in broadcast and digital news content.
• Organizational skills and the ability to work under deadline pressure.
• Must be deadline‑oriented, maintaining quality while staying on tight schedules.
• Must be able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends.

Pay Range: $21 - $25 USD

TEGNA offers comprehensive benefits designed to safeguard the physical, mental and financial health of our employees and their families. Our 401(k) program offers full, part‑time and temporary employees the opportunity to contribute 1% - 80% of their pay on a pre‑tax basis to TEGNA’s 401(k). Contributions made up to the first 4% of pay are eligible for a 100% match from the company and are 100% vested from day one.

Regardless of participation in TEGNA medical plans, all employees and their eligible family members receive nine free virtual doctor’s appointments through Teladoc and 12 free annual therapy sessions with a licensed clinician through Spring Health.

TEGNA offers a generous paid time off (PTO) benefit as well as nine paid holidays per year.
