Job summary

Fox Corporation is looking for a Video Distribution Engineer II in Tempe, Arizona to support and optimize their video distribution systems. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues and improving workflows across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with video workflows, modern transport protocols, and excellent collaboration skills. This position offers an hourly wage between $36.50 and $48.75 and various benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

Strong experience maintaining and troubleshooting compressed and uncompressed video workflows.
Solid understanding of MPEG/JPEG encoding, transcoding, multiplexing, encryption, and transport streams.
Working knowledge of modern video transport protocols (SRT, RTP, Zixi, HLS).

Responsibilities

Act as support for broadcast and distribution systems, troubleshooting issues beyond standard operating procedures.
Take ownership of specific components or workflows within the video distribution pipeline.
Analyze dashboards, logs, and metrics to identify trends and performance gaps.
