Job summary

ZiMAD is seeking a hands‑on Senior Video Designer/Creator to expand our presence on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other video‑first platforms. You will independently produce content, test formats, and drive channel growth across global markets.

You will build AI‑driven series, collaborate with creators, and apply motion design, editing, and voice‑over to deliver engaging videos with strong hooks and retention.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in video, social content, or motion design.
• Strong portfolio with self‑produced videos.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop, and Figma.
• Experience creating AI-driven video formats; comfortable with Runway, Kling, Veo, SeeDance, ElevenLabs.
• Knowledge of TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage ZiMAD’s YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other video‑first channels.
• Create and launch new video formats, series, and recurring content.
• Produce short‑form videos end to end: concept, script, editing, motion design, and sound.
• Collaborate with existing creatives to adapt assets for different formats and goals.
• Build AI‑driven series, characters, arcs, hooks, and cliffhangers with consistency across episodes.
• Use AI tools for video generation, character creation, voice‑over, lip‑sync, and animation.
• Track trends and test hooks, durations, framing, and storytelling techniques.
• Analyze content performance and scale top formats.
• Brief the production team and oversee execution to protect the concept.

Job Description

We’re looking for a hands‑on Senior Video Designer/Creator to grow ZiMAD’s presence on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other video‑first platforms. You will independently produce part of the content, invent new formats, run rapid tests, and be accountable for channel growth and performance.

Role Objective

Build a sustainable video‑first content system that helps ZiMAD projects grow through strong formats, fast experimentation, and scaling the ideas with the best reach, retention, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage ZiMAD’s YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other video-first channels
• Create and launch new video formats, series, and recurring content
• Produce short‑form videos end to end: from concept and script structure to editing, motion design, and sound
• Work with existing creatives: extract needed elements/assets, refine, and adapt them for different formats, platforms, and goals
• Build AI‑driven series, short films, and other narrative AI‑video formats: design characters, visual worlds, story arcs, hooks, and cliffhangers; maintain consistency across episodes
• Use AI tools for video generation, character creation, voice‑over, lip‑sync, and animation
• Track trends and adapt them to ZiMAD products and audiences
• Test hooks, duration, framing, editing approaches, and storytelling techniques
• Analyze content performance and scale the best‑performing formats
• Brief the production team on more complex videos and oversee execution to protect the concept

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in video, social content, or motion design
• Strong portfolio with self‑produced videos
• Confident proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Figma
• Practical experience creating AI series, short films, or other narrative AI‑video formats; confident with tools such as Runway, Kling, Veo, SeeDance, ElevenLabs, or similar
• Solid understanding of TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels
• Knowledge of viral mechanics, hooks, retention, and storytelling
• Ability to take a video from idea to final delivery independently
• Comfort with metrics: views, watch time, retention, completion rate, shares, saves, and engagement
• English sufficient to work with tools, trends, and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience growing social/video channels
• Demonstrated cases of organic growth or viral content
• Experience creating character‑based content and working with recurring characters
• Experience in gaming
