Overview

This is a Full Time position in the field of Commercial, Corporate, & Pro Video Production, located in El Segundo, CA.

The position pays $80,000.00 — $120,000.00 per year.

Responsibilities

• Video Editor will be responsible for producing high-quality video content for Skytron’s YouTube channel and other digital platforms, managing the full video production process—from shooting to editing to motion graphics—while ensuring content reflects the futuristic, innovative, and precise nature of our brand.
• YouTube Channel Management: Plan, upload, and optimize videos for Skytron’s YouTube channel; manage publishing schedules, titles, descriptions, and thumbnails.
• Video Production: Capture high-quality video content at our office, ensuring footage aligns with brand style and messaging.
• Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos with strong pacing, storytelling, and flow.
• Motion Graphics & Animation: Design and integrate on-brand motion graphics and animations to elevate video quality.
• Content Collaboration: Work with the founders and engineers to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging visuals.

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience in video editing and motion graphics (portfolio required).
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar editing software.
• Skilled in shooting video with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting setups, and audio capture.
• Ability to tell stories visually and simplify complex topics.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and design.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in aviation, aerospace, or tech industries.
• Familiarity with 3D animation tools (Blender, Cinema4D, etc.).
