The Sensor SW and Prototyping Engineering Program Management org is responsible for delivering software for all sensors in Apple products. We partner with the engineering teams to deliver critical and key technologies like TouchID, FaceID, and other real-time on-device Computer Vision technologies across Apple products. We drive teams to deliver Apple quality, innovative experiences, innovating through the full stack, and partnering with hardware, software and machine learning teams to influence the sensor and silicon roadmap that brings our vision to life! We are looking for an outstanding Engineering Program Manager to deliver next-generation sensing software technologies for computer vision applications. From machine learning to artificial intelligence, you will be working at the cutting edge of custom hardware, data, and software capabilities to deliver extraordinary Apple experiences. You have experience in product development and program/project/product management, proven leadership capabilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for shipping new technologies.
In this role, you will drive large, multi-functional efforts to build technologies across Apple. Your ability to develop relationships and trust across system and module hardware and software teams will be key to your success. You will work multi-functionally to plan and deliver software tools, infrastructure, and user studies to support technology development. You will create development schedules, identify critical paths, and maintain throughout execution. You will ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication. You are able to grasp complex technical topics along with abstracting key issues and risks into a useful form for executives.
BS or higher in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field + 10 years of relevant experience.
Pay & Benefits: At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700 and $282,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
