Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science required.
• 3–5 years' experience in video compression or learning-based visual computing.
• Strong research background in video or image coding and processing.

Responsibilities

• Works with a general understanding of competitive technologies in video compression.
• Understands system context for new technologies and requirements for success.
• Creates early-stage conceptual models demonstrating feasibility.
• Documents and presents new algorithms and implementations (standards contributions, patents, publications).
• Represents company technology interests in industry associations or standards bodies.
• Maintains high technical and moral integrity for Dolby.
