Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a skilled software engineer to join the Final Cut Camera team, focusing on advancing video capture capabilities on iPhone and related devices.

You will design features to deliver studio-quality content and enable seamless editing in Final Cut Pro, while leveraging the latest camera features. The role requires strong Swift/Objective-C programming skills, experience with AVFoundation, and a track record of shipping apps on Apple platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience developing applications in Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Strong knowledge of Apple development tools and frameworks, including SwiftUI, UIKit, AVFoundation.
• Demonstrated experience building user-facing applications on iOS, iPadOS, and/or macOS with products shipped in the AppStore.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, QA, and product marketing teams.
• Research, scope, design, and implement new product features.
• Work to optimize implementations for stability, power and memory efficiency.
• Partner with other teams at Apple to leverage new hardware and software capabilities.
