Job summary

Respect Together seeks a training and technical assistance professional to support sexual violence prevention and response. The role focuses on updating counselor training, creating resources, and delivering trainings to rape crisis centers and allied professionals.

You will work on e-learning materials, monitor training syllabi, and collaborate with the grants/contracts team while engaging with state partners and stakeholders to advance policy priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, nursing, or education from a four-year college.
• 3–5 years direct services experience with sexual abuse, harassment, or trafficking.
• Experience with a rape crisis center and/or behavioral health.
• Experience/knowledge of adult learning techniques.
• Strong research, analytical, writing, editing and public speaking skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel and data bases.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on sexual abuse, harassment, and assault to counselors and advocates.
• Create resource materials on survivors and advocacy issues.
• Identify current and emerging issues and collect information.
• Facilitate trainings for advocates and professionals on best practices.
• Lead review and update of counselor training materials, including e-learning.
• Review training syllabi submitted for monitoring.
• Train centers on case notes and casefiles; collaborate with grants/contracts team.
• Support communications with rape crisis centers and coalitions on policy priorities.
• Serve on internal committees and connect with direct service providers.
• Act as liaison to PCAR Partners.
