Job summary

iCapital is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to build features and fix defects across its software platforms. You will collaborate with Product Management to define requirements, review progress, and resolve issues found during testing.

The role emphasizes TypeScript front end and Python back end development, with design reviews and active SDLC participation. The candidate should bring extensive experience in SaaS, strong cloud and relational DB skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS.
• 7+ years of Python development experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with relational database concepts and modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies – Kubernetes, AWS, etc.
• Ability to work in an Agile / Kanban methodology.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group effort.

Responsibilities

• Web application development in Typescript as front end and Python as a backend.
• Mentor junior engineers effectively and participate in architecture reviews and technical design.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design.
• Active participation in daily stand-up meetings.
• Active participation in peer code reviews as part of our standard SDLC and Change processes.
