Qualifications

Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago**Job Description****General Summary:**## The Vice President of Strategic Planning & Business Development is a key leadership position responsible for developing and advancing the organization’s Strategic Plan. Under the direction of the Chief Strategy Officer, the Vice President of Strategic Planning & Business Development will support the development and periodic updating of the enterprise Strategic Plan that is reviewed and approved by the Medical Center Board of Directors. He/she will lead the development of large-scale business cases that are identified in the Strategic Plan to include new sites of service, new lines of business, partnerships, mergers & acquisitions and opportunities to improve operating efficiencies and serve more children. The Vice President of Strategic Planning & Business Development will also develop and maintain a robust community intelligence program to inform and guide the CEO Cabinet, Leadership Team and other councils about industry trends, market opportunities and threats relevant to achieving the goals and targets of the Strategic Plan.
