Key responsibilities include:- Origination & Sourcing: Develop and execute sector theses in home, outdoor, specialty retail, and DTC/ecommerce. Build relationships with investment bankers, brokers, advisors, and executives to generate proprietary deal flow.- Transaction Execution: Lead deals from early assessment through LOI and close, including financial modeling, due diligence, and negotiation.- Portfolio Value Creation: Partner with portfolio brand CEOs and operating leaders to design and execute post-acquisition value-creation roadmaps.- Team Building: Help scale the investment function as the team grows.Success in the first year means closing or materially advancing multiple transactions and embedding repeatable value-creation playbooks across the portfolio.
