DBF Recruiting LLC has identified a large food manufacturer seeking a multi-site VP of Operations. The role leads day-to-day plant operations across three facilities, oversees budget and compliance, and partners with senior leadership to drive strategic growth.

The ideal candidate is an analytical, results-driven leader with 15+ years in food manufacturing, multi-site experience, USDA/meat or frozen foods background, and bilingual Spanish a plus. Relocation offered.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in food manufacturing plant management.
• 2+ years as multi-site plant manager/director/VP.
• Experience in a very large manufacturing environment (≥1000 employees).
• USDA experience in meat or frozen foods is preferred.
• Strategic planning experience.
• Proven track record of building productive cultures.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for three facilities with 2000+ employees.
• Mentor plant managers/directors and develop leadership pipeline.
• Ensure plant safety and compliance with food safety/quality regulations.
• Measure and drive performance across budget, operations and management.
• Contribute to strategic growth as part of the executive team.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and projects.

Job description

Large food manufacturer is seeking a multi-site VP of Operations. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical leader who will join our senior management team. You will be responsible for leading the plant's day-to-day operations (managing the company budget, ensuring operational compliance is followed, and addressing administrative issues).

Responsibilitie

• Manage all aspects of a 3 facility 2000+ employee food manufacturing operation
• Manage and mentor plant manager/directors
• Ensure plant safety and food safety/quality regulations are followed
• Measure the effectiveness of all processes (budget, operations, and management, etc.)
• Determine plants' strategic growth as part of the executive team
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and projects

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience in food manufacturing plant management with at least 2 years as a multi-site plant manager/director/VP
• Experience managing in a very large manufacturing environment, minimum 1000 employees
• USDA experience- meat or frozen foods are the best backgrounds
• Strategic planning experience
• Track record of success and creating productive cultures
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
