Job summary

Sapphire Recruitment in the Binghamton, NY area seeks an experienced Vice President of Operations to lead and strengthen its manufacturing organization. This senior role oversees manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, scheduling, logistics, and HR to improve productivity and accountability while developing leaders.

The VP will drive continuous improvement, ensure on-time delivery, and align operations with customer commitments and overall business goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership.
• Experience overseeing multiple departments or operational functions.
• Strong background in high-mix, low-volume, configure-to-order, or make-to-order manufacturing.
• Hands-on ERP knowledge including production planning, scheduling, BOMs, and routings.
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience preferred.

Sapphire Recruitment is partnering with an established manufacturer in the Binghamton, NY area to identify an experienced Vice President of Operations to lead and strengthen its manufacturing organization.

This is a highly visible leadership role for an operations executive who knows how to improve performance without disrupting the systems and practices that have helped build a successful business.

The VP of Operations will oversee key functions including manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, scheduling, logistics, and HR, with a focus on increasing productivity, strengthening accountability, developing leaders, and delivering consistent operational results.

What You’ll Lead
