Job summary

CiresiMorek is seeking an executive to provide strategic leadership for quality across a multi-site metals manufacturing organization in the Chicago area. This leader will set standards, drive performance, and ensure product consistency while improving customer satisfaction and reducing cost of quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant technical discipline, 15+ years in quality leadership, and advanced certifications; MS or MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as listed; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years in QA/quality leadership in metals or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish enterprise quality strategy and framework across multiple facilities.
• Strengthen quality through standardized controls, performance metrics, statistical methods, and disciplined corrective action.
• Lead senior quality leader for key customers with executive reviews, escalations, qualifications, and improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Operations and technical leadership to improve first-pass yield, reduce nonconformances and customer claims, and address systemic manufacturing issues.
• Maintain certification and customer compliance requirements while ensuring facilities remain prepared for audits and evolving quality expectations.
• Build organizational capability by developing quality leaders and technical talent with clear succession plans and performance expectations across the network.

This executive will establish consistent quality standards across the manufacturing network while strengthening process control, product consistency, customer satisfaction, and cost of quality.
