Job summary

Pioneer Square Brands is seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Finance to lead the company’s financial planning, reporting, analytics, cash management, and legal coordination functions. This role partners with executive leadership to drive performance and protect assets in a fast-paced consumer goods environment.

The VP of Finance will oversee FP&A, accounting, cash management, audit coordination, and company-wide analytics to deliver actionable insights for strategic decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
• Experience leading end-to-end sale, recapitalization, or strategic transaction processes with due diligence and coordination with external partners.
• Experience leading FP&A, accounting, cash management, and financial reporting functions.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, and audit management.
• Experience working with executive leadership teams and presenting to boards or ownership groups.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams including analytics or business intelligence.
• Familiarity with contract management and coordination with external legal counsel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own forward-looking FP&A including forecasting and long-range planning.
• Provide analytical support and recommendations on pricing, margin optimization, and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain ownership of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Oversee internal reporting and performance tracking against budget and forecast.
• Ensure timely delivery of financial statements to stakeholders and board.
• Generate actionable insights and explain performance drivers and next steps.
• Partner with department leaders to set budget goals and track variances.
• Lead and manage the annual audit process with auditors.
• Oversee cash flow management, banking relationships, AP/AR, and compliance.
• Lead data analytics efforts, dashboards, and enterprise-wide reporting.
