About Edsana

Edsana is a PE-backed platform operating in the EdTech space serving K-12 districts across

multiple states with two business units, school-based Medicaid billing and Finance ERP (financial management software for school districts). Backed by Performant Capital, we are growing aggressively - through both organic expansion and a disciplined acquisition strategy - and are building the leadership team required to execute at scale.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Vice President and GM, Finance ERP to work directly alongside the Edsana

CEO and President, Finance ERP on the company's most critical priorities. This is not a supporting role - it is a seat at the table. You will have real ownership over the Finance ERP business unit, including growth, strategy, product, operations, and client relationships.

The right person is someone who can operate in ambiguity, impose structure where none exists, and hold the organization accountable to deadlines and outcomes. You will be embedded with the executive team and our PE sponsors, with high visibility and real decision- making authority.

We think of this as an accelerated path to business unit leadership - the expectation is that

you will step into the role of President, Finance ERP, with full P&L responsibility, within 2-3

years, or sooner for the right person.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with the CEO of Edsana and the President, Finance ERP on high-priority strategic initiatives spanning growth, operations, partnerships, and product
  • Own the product roadmap in partnership with engineering: gather client needs, set priorities, guide releases, and drive adoption of new modules
  • Serve as a senior client-facing leader for school district business officials, supporting renewals, expansions, and new client wins, and representing Edsana at conferences and industry events
  • Lead day‑to‑day operations across implementation, onboarding, and client support, with a focus on speed, quality, and client satisfaction
  • Build a deep understanding of the Finance ERP P&L, including pricing, revenue, margins, and headcount, and take on increasing ownership of budget and financial performance
  • Build and systematize processes and reporting infrastructure in a high‑growth, frequently unstructured environment
  • Analyze business performance, identify operational improvements, and implement scalable processes
  • Drive execution across major initiatives, driving alignment and accountability across teams
  • Surface operational gaps and solutions without waiting to be asked
  • Build executive‑level materials, dashboards, and investor‑facing updates for leadership, the board, and PE stakeholders
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B software or SaaS, consulting, investment banking, private equity operations, corporate strategy, or a high‑growth operating environment, including meaningful time in an operating role
  • Hands‑on product management experience, ideally with enterprise, ERP, or financial software
  • Client‑facing experience with the ability to build trusted relationships with customers; familiarity with K-12, public sector, or school finance is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, and output - you use AI to work faster and smarter, not as a crutch, and you know the difference
  • Exceptional work ethic and willingness to take ownership in fast‑paced environments
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with a desire to build and operate businesses
  • Comfortable operating in smaller businesses where resourcefulness, adaptability, and execution are essential
  • Exceptional project management skills; comfortable running multiple workstreams simultaneously with minimal oversight
  • Strong communicator who can influence stakeholders at every level, from frontline staff to PE partners
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus
Who Thrives Here
  • Execution-oriented and resourceful - you get things done without a manual
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by the challenge of building in real time
  • Intellectually curious with a strong bias toward action over analysis paralysis
  • Sharp business instincts and genuine interest in scaling companies through organic growth and operational improvement
  • Has operated alongside or reported to senior executives and PE sponsors before
Why Edsana
  • Reporting line to the CEO of Edsana and close partnership with the President, Finance ERP from day one
  • Substantive role in building and scaling a PE‑backed multi‑state platform
  • Real ownership - over initiatives, outcomes, and eventually a business unit
  • A defined path to President, Finance ERP, with full P&L leadership for the right person
