LaSalle Network is seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis for a confidential, rapidly growing SaaS organization. This executive will partner with the CFO and ELT to shape financial strategy and drive long-term growth.

The role leads budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis while building a scalable FP&A function. Ideal candidate has 10+ years in FP&A or strategic finance within SaaS, strong executive presence, and advanced modeling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years FP&A or corporate/strategic finance experience, including leadership of teams within SaaS.
• Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and management reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the FP&A function, establish scalable processes, reporting frameworks, and performance expectations.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team focused on analytical rigor and business partnership.
• Partner with the CFO and ELT on financial performance, resource allocation, risks, and opportunities.
• Own annual budgeting, long-range planning, and monthly/ quarterly forecast cycles.
• Develop sophisticated financial models for revenue, profitability, expenses, cash flow, and drivers.
• Drive variance analysis and performance reviews with actionable recommendations.
• Support mergers & acquisitions analysis, integration, and due diligence.

LaSalle Network is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a rapidly growing Saas organization seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis. This executive-level role will serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and Executive Leadership Team, helping shape the company's financial strategy, operational performance, and long-term growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic finance leadership, operational insight, and executive presence. This individual will lead all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis while building a scalable FP&A function capable of supporting continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

FP&A Leadership & Business Partnership

• Lead and develop the FP&A function, establishing scalable processes, reporting frameworks, and performance expectations.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team focused on analytical rigor, business partnership, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive leadership team on financial performance, resource allocation, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner closely with business leaders to translate strategic initiatives into measurable financial plans and operational objectives.

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Own the company's annual budgeting process, long-range planning activities, and monthly and quarterly forecast cycles.
• Develop sophisticated financial models that provide visibility into revenue, profitability, operating expenses, cash flow, and key business drivers.
• Drive variance analysis and performance reviews, providing actionable recommendations to improve results.
• Establish and enhance forecasting methodologies that improve decision-making and accountability across the organization.

Strategic Finance & Corporate Initiatives

• Support enterprise-wide strategic planning and major business initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Evaluate investments, organizational changes, and resource allocation decisions to maximize business performance.
• Partner with leadership teams to improve financial visibility and establish key performance indicators across the organization.

Mergers & Acquisitions

• Support acquisition analysis, due diligence, financial modeling, and integration activities.
• Monitor post-acquisition performance, track synergies, and measure results against investment expectations.
• Develop reporting and performance frameworks for strategic investments and business expansion initiatives.

Workforce & Compensation Planning

• Lead financial planning efforts related to headcount growth, workforce investments, and compensation programs.
• Partner closely with HR and business leaders to ensure hiring plans and organizational investments align with financial objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline required. MBA, CPA, or other advanced credentials preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience, including leadership of high-performing teams within Saas.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and management reporting processes.
• Strong executive presence with experience partnering directly with C-suite leaders.
• Exceptional financial modeling, business analysis, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, integration efforts, and strategic growth initiatives preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools. Experience with ERP, CRM, and business intelligence platforms is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
