Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President, Auditor in Finance Audit to lead or perform audits of Finance reporting activities. You will drive risk-focused planning, fieldwork and reporting, and ensure tests accurately assess adherence to policies, procedures and regulations.

You will analyze controls, explain findings, and mentor others in complex issue resolution. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, plus a Bachelor’s degree and preferred CPA/ACA credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or MIS/ DIS / Computer Science / Mathematics preferred.
• Professional certification (CPA or ACA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads or performs audits related to Finance reporting activities.
• Leads risk-focused planning, fieldwork and reporting per audit standards.
• Ensures testing is adequate and accurate to evaluate policy and regulatory adherence.
• Demonstrates flowcharting, work papers, analysis and issue identification with management.
• Explains audit findings clearly to clients and auditees; identifies control gaps.
