We're looking for someone who has influenced major decisions, not just produced reports.

Working directly with the President, this executive will serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership and the Board of Directors. You will strengthen financial performance, guide critical business decisions, and ensure the organization maintains the financial discipline and infrastructure required for continued growth.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on finance executive with strong manufacturing experience who can operate at both the strategic and operational levels. The right candidate brings sound judgment, deep industrial manufacturing finance experience, and the ability to turn complex financial information into clear business direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate investments, capital allocation decisions, market expansion opportunities, and other strategic initiatives.

  • Lead initiatives focused on profitability, operational efficiency, cash flow, and return on investment.
  • Oversee accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and financial governance.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, statutory reporting requirements, internal policies, and applicable U.S. and Canadian regulations.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, strengthening accountability, capabilities, and business partnership across the organization.
  • Oversee credit and collections while supporting external programs related to tax reporting, payroll, benefits, and workers’ compensation.
  • Establish effective capital planning, liquidity management, financial controls, and reporting processes.
  • Partner with operational leaders across multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Travel periodically to company locations in Oregon and Canada.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.

  • Strong experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and operational analysis.
  • Demonstrated success leading finance within a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.
  • Experience with U.S. and Canadian accounting, tax, compliance, and GAAP requirements preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives and communicate effectively with a Board of Directors.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, decision-making, and business-partnership skills.
  • High standards of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
Why this role
  • Performance-based bonus opportunity.
  • Comprehensive health and benefits program.
