Job summary

Full Spectrum Search Group is recruiting a VP of Finance for a Dallas, TX portfolio of 100+ facilities. This senior role sits with market leadership and connects numbers to care decisions across Texas.

Responsibilities include day-to-day accounting, GAAP-compliant close, and building scalable finance processes. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in healthcare finance and strong leadership, with a CPA preferred and Workday experience a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading finance and accounting, including real time in senior-level operational finance.
• Direct, operator-side experience inside a healthcare organization is required; public accounting alone does not qualify.
• Multi-site healthcare operator experience preferred.
• SNF or broader post-acute finance experience strongly preferred; other healthcare multi-site finance experience will be considered.
• Ability to explain financial concepts to operators who do not live in the numbers.
• Experience building or growing an accounting/finance team.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Workday Financials a plus.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Dallas, TX. Onsite role with occasional travel.
• Pre-employment criminal background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the finance seat operators actually call; partner with market and facility leadership across Texas.
• Own the day-to-day accounting function inside the Dallas service center, close cycle through year end, in line with GAAP and company standards.
• Keep the balance sheet clean and reconciliations tight with strong internal controls.
• Grow and develop the Dallas-based accounting and finance team; build scalable processes.
• Own the forecast, define the metrics that matter, and drive multi-year planning for the Texas portfolio.
• Build reporting and dashboards showing reimbursement movement, labor trends, and drivers of performance.
• Build the financial models behind acquisitions, hospital partnerships, integrations, and growth plays across Texas.
• Serve as the finance face to hospital district partners, external auditors, regulatory agencies, and consultants.
• Keep the portfolio audit-ready and compliant with state and federal healthcare and reimbursement requirements.
• Push automation and standardization across the finance organization; collaborate with sister service centers.

Title: VP of Finance

• Keep the portfolio audit ready and current with state and federal healthcare and reimbursement requirements.
• Push automation and standardization across the finance organization, and partner with the sister service centers to keep it consistent.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading finance and accounting, including real time in senior-level operational finance.

• Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA preferred, but operator experience and operational presence can carry similar weight. Both would be ideal.
