Job description

You enjoy shaping the future of product innovation as a core leader, driving value for customers, guiding successful launches, and exceeding expectations. Join our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality products that enable connected, personalized customer experiences.

As a Product Manager in Personalization, you are an integral part of the team responsible for developing and connecting data products that power personalized customer experiences. You will lead complex data product integrations across platforms, source systems, and downstream applications, translating business and customer needs into scalable product capabilities. You will drive the integrations that move personalization data through enterprise data services, APIs, and events to Chase's digital experiences, such as personal financial management, and to the AI agents that serve customers.

As a core product leader, you will bring structure and direction to interconnected data workstreams, partnering closely with engineering, data, platform, and product teams to establish priorities, manage dependencies, and drive execution. You will combine a strong understanding of data products, APIs, and systems integration with the ability to step back from the technical details and articulate the broader product vision and customer value. You will play an important role in enabling personalization by helping transform data and customer information into reusable capabilities that can be accessed across products, platforms, and emerging AI-enabled experiences. Success requires someone who is equally comfortable navigating technical discussions and influencing broader product strategy, with the curiosity, humility, and proactive mindset to operate effectively in a complex and evolving environment.

Job responsibilities
  • Shapes the integration strategy and translates the broader personalization vision into a roadmap and delivery plan that delivers measurable value to customers
  • Leads end-to-end product management for complex data integrations across platforms, source systems, APIs, and downstream consumers
  • Partners with engineering, data, architecture, platform, and product teams to define integration requirements and agree on data contracts, including schemas, keys, freshness, latency, and ownership
  • Owns, maintains, and develops the product backlog and roadmap, translating strategic objectives into actionable capabilities and integration workstreams
  • Brings structure and accountability to multiple interconnected data workstreams, proactively identifying risks, gaps, dependencies, and opportunities
  • Defines how data capabilities can be made accessible and reusable across products, including personalized experiences and AI-enabled use cases
  • Drives product discovery to understand customer, business, and technology needs and translates insights into scalable product solutions
  • Communicates both the technical details and broader strategic value of data products, ensuring stakeholders understand not only what is being delivered but why it matters
  • Builds frameworks and tracks key product success metrics, including adoption, reliability, scalability, risk, functionality, and customer value
  • Champions resilient, scalable, and well-integrated solutions while navigating the complexities of a highly matrixed organization
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, data products, technical product management, platform products, or a relevant domain
  • Demonstrated experience managing data products, system integrations, APIs, or platform capabilities
  • Advanced understanding of the product development life cycle, including discovery, ideation, requirements definition, roadmap development, prioritization, delivery, and value management
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple technical teams, products, platforms, or data sources
  • Strong technical fluency with APIs, event streaming (for example, Kafka), and integration patterns across real-time and batch systems; able to read an API specification or event schema and trace how data moves from source to consumer.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product strategy, customer value, and business outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both the strategic and execution levels, moving comfortably between detailed technical discussions and broader product objectives
  • Strong technical fluency with APIs, event streaming (for example, Kafka), and integration patterns across real-time and batch systems; able to read an API specification or event schema and trace how data moves from source to consumer.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and learning agility, with a willingness to ask questions, develop domain expertise, and continually expand technical understanding and challenge assumptions
  • Owns delivery of key integrations from requirements through production, including schema sign-off, integration testing, and launch readiness
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence across product, engineering, data, and business organizations
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience developing data products or platform capabilities that enable personalization, customer intelligence, or AI-enabled experiences
  • Experience working with reusable data services, customer data platforms, registries, metadata, or other capabilities designed to make information discoverable and consumable across products
