Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Vice President, Client Services - Claim Operations to lead client relationships within the assigned region. You will oversee administrative and financial activities, ensure contract compliance, and guide staffing and budgeting initiatives to support growth and service excellence.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to develop executive-level relationships while coordinating cross-functionally across teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration or Finance preferred.
  • Advanced degree with professional designation (i.e. CPCU, AIC, ARM) preferred.
  • Ten (10) years related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Three (3) years Area Account Executive experience on national accounts.
  • Five (5) years claims/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee administrative, managerial and client relationships within the assigned region/Business Unit.
  • Ensure contract compliance within an assigned region/Business Unit.
  • Provide financial oversight including accounts receivable, invoicing and pricing support within an assigned region.
  • Maintain client knowledge including threatened status and relationships with the company.
  • Endorse timely renewal processes; negotiate and support new contracts within the region.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and participate in budgeting and planning.
  • Plan staffing needs including succession and bench-strength for new business.
  • Support client relationships and executive relationships; assist internal coordination.
  • Support business development and quality programs; travel as required.

Vice President Client Services - Claim Operations
Primary Purpose

To be responsible for the administrative, managerial and client relationships associated with Client Services within the assigned region/Business Unit.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Ensures contract compliance within an assigned region/Business Unit.
  • Responsible for financials including accounts receivable, invoicing and pricing support within an assigned region.
  • Responsible for client knowledge including threatened status and relationship with the company within an assigned region.
  • Ensures renewal process is handled timely; negotiates and supports new contracts within an assigned region.
  • Ensures compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Responsible for business planning and budgeting within an assigned region.
  • Plans for staffing needs including succession, bench‑strength, and new business within an assigned region.
  • Supports client relationships, builds executive relationships, and supports internal relationships.
  • Supports business development and organization's quality program(s) and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Travels as required.
Qualifications
Education & Licensing

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major in Risk Management, Business Administration or Finance preferred. Advanced degree with professional designation (i.e. CPCU, AIC, ARM) preferred.

Experience

Ten (10) years related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required to include three (3) years Area Account Executive experience on national accounts and five (5) years claims/supervisory experience.
