BNY Mellon seeks a Vice President–level Client Portfolio Manager to join the Client Portfolio Management team at BNY Investments. This role can be based in New York or Boston and focuses on communicating the firm's value proposition and product offerings to position against competitors while driving new business.

You will engage with distribution and investment teams to position strategies, maintain consultative discussions with investors, contribute to marketing materials, and support expansion

Qualificações

• 3–5 years' experience in a client portfolio management role or client-facing role in asset management
• Strong investment and analytical acumen; CFA designation and/or advanced degree is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex ideas concisely
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with portfolio management, research and distribution teams
• Independent work style with high self-motivation
• Understanding of AI-enabled tools and practical applications for productivity

• Contribute to development and maintenance of marketing materials including fund commentaries and investment reports
• Inform and support development of product offerings to include additional mutual funds, ETFs, CITs and SMA platform
• Contribute market intelligence to Insights monitoring of the competitive landscape

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Client Portfolio Manager at Vice President level level to join the Client Portfolio Management team at BNY Investments.

This role can be based in New York or Boston.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Effectively communicate BNY Investments history and value proposition as an asset management firm.
• Effectively communicate the firm's product offerings (including Mutual Funds, CITs and ETFs) and investment philosophy, processes and resources to strategically position the firm against industry competitors, ultimately driving new business.
• Function as a champion of the business working with the broader distribution and investment teams to determine proper positioning of strategies and represent the firm and its products with internal and external sales teams and end clients.
• Maintain highly consultative and solutions-based discussions with existing and prospective investors.
• Contribute to development and maintenance of marketing and materials including fund commentaries and investment reports.
• Inform and support the development of our product offering to include additional mutual funds, ETFs, CITs and SMA platform.
• Contribute market intelligence to Insights monitoring of the competitive landscape.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Ideally 3-5 years' experience in a client portfolio management role, or a client-facing technical role such as marketing or a product specialist in asset management
• Strong investment and analytical acumen, with candidates having attained CFA/and or advanced degree is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to succinctly and effectively explain complex ideas.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with peer professionals including portfolio management teams, research team and distribution professionals.
• Independent work style and a level of high self-motivation.
• Understanding of AI-enabled tools, technologies, and practical applications, with the ability to apply these appropriately within the role to enhance productivity, decision-making, or business outcomes.
