Job summary

AccessHope is seeking a Vice President, Architecture & AI to architect our technology platform, combining cloud engineering, enterprise architecture, and AI into a cohesive strategy. You will build reusable platforms, establish engineering best practices, and partner with product, data science, and engineering to deliver AI-powered capabilities at enterprise scale.

This role requires hands-on leadership, deep expertise in AI and platform architecture, and experience with regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering and enterprise architecture (preferred)
• Experience building cloud-native applications at scale
• Deep expertise in AI platform architecture and production AI systems
• Experience in highly regulated healthcare industry (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise technology architecture across all platforms and develop multi-year technology roadmap
• Define architectural principles, standards, and governance
• Review all major technology initiatives for scalability, security, and reliability
• Lead architecture review board and provide technical leadership across containers, networking, and CI/CD
• Provide architectural oversight for Salesforce, Member Portal, Provider Portal, and Internal Operations Platform
• Drive decisions on build vs buy vs partner, vendor selection, and AI roadmap

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering and enterprise architecture
• 5+ years leading architecture for enterprise SaaS platforms
• Experience building cloud-native applications at scale
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise modernization initiatives
• Deep expertise in AI platform architecture and production AI systems
• Experience in highly regulated industries

Preferred qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering and enterprise architecture
• 8+ years leading architecture for enterprise SaaS platforms
• Experience building cloud-native applications at scale
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise modernization initiatives
• Deep expertise in AI platform architecture and production AI systems
• Experience in highly regulated healthcare industry

• Virtual within the continental U.S.; support or collaboration across multiple time zones; may include travel up to 25%

Pay Range:

$148,990.40 - $198,897.51 per year
