Vice President AEOI (Structured Finance) - Cayman Islands

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Vice President to join our AEOI team, with a focus on managing Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) clients and related transactions. This role requires deep technical expertise in FATCA and CRS compliance, strong client relationship management, and the ability to lead complex engagements from onboarding through to reporting and regulatory filings.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification
  • Lead and manage a team of AEOI professionals, providing guidance and technical expertise.
  • Oversee a portfolio of SPV clients, ensuring timely and accurate AEOI (FATCA/CRS) compliance and reporting.
  • Lead client onboarding, due diligence, and classification processes in line with Cayman Islands regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the primary contact for SPV clients, advising on structuring implications and cross-border compliance matters.
  • Review and sign-off on AEOI filings, IDD assessments, and remediation work.
  • Develop and mentor junior staff, providing technical training and oversight.
  • Identify process efficiencies, risk mitigation strategies, and revenue opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of evolving international tax and AEOI regulations.
Education, Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in AEOI compliance, with a strong background in SPV securitisation structures and cross-border transactions.
  • Proven expertise in FATCA/CRS classification, due diligence, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Cayman Islands regulatory framework, AEOI reporting platforms and data management
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Prior experience managing and mentoring staff.

Walkers offers a dynamic working environment with opportunities for career progression and an excellent remuneration package, include a base salary of up to US$140,000, a discretionary performance-based bonus, pension and fully covered health insurance for employees and 5 weeks' vacation. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
