The Vice Chair will lead patient care initiatives, chair multidisciplinary reviews, and partner with hospital leadership to drive performance, engagement and fiscal stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in call rotations as part of the cardiology team.
• Lead multidisciplinary peer review processes to ensure clinical quality.
• Identify and implement strategies to reduce barriers to efficient and appropriate patient care.
• Minimize inappropriate use of non-invasive testing through evidence-based practices.
• Ensure seamless transitions of care between acute and ambulatory settings.
