Job summary

John Crane, a business of Smiths Group, is seeking a Condition Monitoring Engineer or Vibration Technical Specialist (Hybrid) in the United States. You will provide technical support for Asset Condition Management projects, consulting with customers to identify needs and guiding on-site teams and regional sales.

Responsibilities include leading vibration analysis for rotating equipment, developing monitoring plans, and expanding condition monitoring services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in vibration analysis for rotating equipment.
• ISO 18436-2 Category 2 certification required.
• Experience with pumps and turbo machinery.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% within the US, Canada and Caribbean regions.
• Permanent US resident or US citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Asset Condition Management projects across the region.
• Consult with customers to identify needs and develop value propositions.
• Lead execution of projects with on-site teams and local sales teams.
• Develop and deliver plans to expand condition monitoring services.
• Lead development of analysis databases and reporting systems (Vibration, Lubrication).
• Support Indufil product line.
