Brightview Senior Living’s Wellspring Village in Columbia, MD is seeking a Vibrant Living Assistant to help residents enjoy each day through activity programming tailored to dementia and other cognitive needs.

You’ll organize and run games, painting, singing, and music, encourage participation, and share the day’s joy with families via social media, emails, and newsletters, celebrating residents’ talents and stories.

Qualifications

• You quickly connect with people and love to learn about them.
• We value talents in singing, dancing, art, poetry, storytelling or trivia.
• A positive attitude and a passion for helping others.
• Active driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Get to know residents to plan and implement spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional programming.
• Participate in activities and help organize/run events such as games, painting, singing, and music.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and programs.
• Utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily happenings.
