Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a seasoned VFR Medical Pilot to join our air ambulance team in Safford, AZ.

You will operate AS350 helicopters under VFR/NVG, maintain CAMTS and FAA compliance, and support 24-hour day/night rotations.

Requirements include Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings, First Class Medical, substantial flight hours, and the ability to lift loads up to 100 pounds; relocation and transition packages may apply.

Qualifications

• Commercial and Instrument helicopter ratings are required.
• First Class Medical Certificate required.
• CAMTS minimum: 2,000 total hours; 1,500 helicopter hours; 1,000 PIC helicopter hours.
• Night operations: 100 unaided hours or 50 unaided + 100 NVG hours.
• Must meet 235-pound body weight limit.
• Able to pass pre-placement physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate AS350 helicopters under VFR/NVG conditions.
• Maintain CAMTS/FAA compliance.
• Support 24-hour operations with day/night rotations.
• Participate in training, safety programs, and customer interactions.
• Relocate or transition aircraft as required per agreements.
